The Calanques of Cassis to Marseille span more than twenty miles of coastline on the Mediterranean Sea between the village of Goudes district southwest of the city of Marseilles, and the town of Cassis. This is one of the most remarkable sites in France and a major area of natural resources and sporting activities for its one million annual visitors. The mass attracts every year many tourists and walkers through the wide choice of trails hanging between the sea and winding reliefs. The GR 51 passes through the Calanques from west to east. We suggest you also visit the Calanques by boat from La Ciotat to admire the beauty of a unique area!
